The poems we each take the time to write about ordinary moments of sweet, or troubling, insights represent the pieces of the rainbow's innumerable colors that others can find courage and inspiration from.

Whether you are a scientist or a mailman, "finding a special dime' on the sidewalk is often the message that inspires others.

Looks and sounds like the beginning of a great song! It has a lot of heart and sounds real. Keep writing lyrics and play with the music to the lyrics till it sounds just right.

Everyone Needs Jesus

Verse 1

When you ask people how they’re doing, most will tell you that they’re good.

But when you ask them about Jesus, they’ll act like they’ve misunderstood.

Too concerned about their problems, and all the stress that this creates.

And not concerned enough about their future…their salvation…and their faith.

Verse 2

I can’t help but wonder, as I watch the daily news.

What kind of spell are these kids under? What makes them do the things they do?

One thing I think is certain, there’s a broken family.

With no Fatherly influence and no relationship with Jesus…can lead to tragedy.

Verse 3

Doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from.

Doesn’t matter about your past, or the things you’ve done.

The Lord is good and will forgive anyone.

So just come, just come. Everyone needs Jesus.

Verse 4

People go about their daily lives ignoring responsibility

But what a child really needs is love and security

When children are ignored, they will often go astray.

And we’re only left to pick up the pieces…and wonder why it just increases. Because everyone…yes everyone…needs Jesus.
