Post A Poem

Shards of me

I uttered the word, inner peace

To ram the thoughts inside my head

I repeated the words in a frantic beat

A thousand voices repeated themselves

The fleeting mind scattered over

Felt the friction growing loose

Shattered

It’s a passionate surrender

The face has no name

It fell by the wayside

But a story, just the same

Hiding behind a handsome mask

Dreams that were shattered

Hiding behind a handsome mask, that's me.

The magnetic field

She travelled

Over two thousand miles

Away

From us . . .

It’s too simple-minded

She has... as a giver?

The first one

In the midst

Of a quiet

So simple,

but sufficient,

Another day unfolds . . .
