When I was young Mom asked me
Why do you have a happy face?
I looked up from the book with glee
Because it's my favorite place
Later when I became a dad
My son asked me to my face
Why does reading make you glad?
Because it's my favorite place
My wife asked me when I retired
And left the rat race
Why doesn't so much reading make you tired?
Because it's my favorite place
