To see your face Your body welcoming me Joining as the seas’ ebb and flow They do not know us They do not know what makes us alive and lost in peaceful ignorance
Walk with me through a hushed forest Where the birds fly free from gilded cages I have not lost hope in me I have not lost your sense of ambiguity
Take my hand forsaking all others Wild and rare as orchids in bloom Fragility understood But there is nothing to fear here Stretched long and languid I will bask in your heat with abandon
It is hard to breathe in the dark Where blue moons rise and fall Leaving me in awe of your love Help me forget the past and I will drink you in with an unquenchable thirst
I am adrift in your tears Bathing in what could only be divinity Feeling tangents without cause Gift to me your pain and I will let it pass through me Together we will uncover what all others have cast away
And begin, anew . . .
