Post A Poem

I am a very lucky husband,

with a wife

who knows

why cooking solves real challenges . . .

She knows

better than priests

and psychologists

that men don't do well

with instructions,

or criticism . . .

She simply

start the mixer,

puts on her cooking apron,

turms on the music,

and dances

her way

through the entire creation

of batches of cookies

brimming with secret

enchantment . . .

And Poof!

All the silly manly worries

magically become

smiles and hugs.
